Welcome to our blog, So why have we decided to set up a blog? quite simply a few months ago my 10 year old son came to me and said "Dad I want to start playing Warhammer 40k" he had been playing with his cousin and he had an Assault on Black Reach set and they had been playing a small game.

My son (Lewes) was excited about the idea of not only playing a game set in the distant future, with fantastic alien and super human races, but also building and painting the figures, vehicles and scenery that you would use to play the game.
